Christina Kubisch is part of the first generation of sound artists to develop their own techniques, such as magnetic induction, in the course of realizing their installations. Since 1986, the trained composer has added light as an additional formative element to her work with sound. This book compiles works that can be viewed as straddling the border between music and visual art.
