Now in its nineteenth year, the European Publishers Award for Photography is a major initiative to encourage the publication of contemporary photography.

Open to photographers world-wide, the competition is a unique collaboration between five European Publishers – Actes Sud (France), Dewi Lewis Publishing (United Kingdom), Kehrer Verlag (Germany), Peliti Associati (Italy) and Blume (Spain).
The competition requires the submission of a substantial, completed and unpublished photographic book project. The winning project is then published in book form simultaneously by each of the publishers in their own country resulting in one of the most extensive cultural collaborations currently existing in Europe.

The 2012 Jury will be held in The United Kingdom and Dewi Lewis Publishing will be the Project Leader.

You can download the competion rules / the entry form here .

The period for entries will start on March 1 and end on March 23, 2012.

The submission fee should be included either cash or with a receipt of your bank transfer with your submission. Bank details will be sent to you upon request.
